Nagpur, Maharashtra: In a shocking incident in Hudkeshwar, Nagpur, a woman and her minor son were arrested for the murder of her husband following years of domestic violence and daily disputes. The 50-year-old woman, fed up with the victim’s abusive behavior, allegedly carried out the crime with the help of her teenage son.
The police revealed that the 57-year-old victim was addicted to alcohol and frequently engaged in violent altercations with his wife. On Sunday evening, another heated argument turned fatal. During the fight, the son allegedly pushed his father, causing him to fall and injure his neck. In the chaos, the woman reportedly used a towel to strangle her husband, leading to his death.
To cover up the crime, the woman attempted to dispose of the body but was unable to execute her plan. A neighbor who became suspicious informed the police. Upon investigation, officers from Hudkeshwar police station recovered the body and arrested the mother and son.
An FIR has been filed, and further investigations are underway. The police have also taken the minor boy into custody and are probing his involvement in the incident.
