BJP’s Initial Candidate from Tinpakhi Ekahi Constituency in Bhandara District Excluded from List
Bhandara News : The BJP’s initial candidate list for Bhandara district does not include names for any of the three constituencies, sparking increased speculation and interest among potential aspirants. It is widely believed that the BJP will secure only one of the three seats. Reliable sources indicate that the Sakoli Vidhan Sabha seat is likely to be allocated to the BJP, while the Bhandara seat may go to the Shiv Sena Shinde faction and Tumsar to the NCP Ajit Pawar faction.
Currently, there are no BJP MLAs representing any of the three constituencies. Aspirants from the BJP are actively seeking tickets for the Sakoli and Bhandara constituencies. Notable figures such as Anup Dhoke and BJP District General Secretary Ashu Gondane are in the running for the Sakoli ticket. There is also speculation that sitting MLA Narendra Bhondekar may contest from Shinde Gatta.
The Tumsar Assembly Constituency has become a competitive area, with sitting Nationalist MLA Raju Karemore expected to represent the Grand Alliance. In the Sakoli constituency, several BJP members are showing interest, including former MLA Bala Kashiwar, BJP District President Prakash Balbuddhe, Somdutt Karanjekar, and Vijaya Nandurkar. The absence of an initial candidate list has heightened curiosity among aspiring candidates.
Meanwhile, current Congress leader Nana Patole is seen as a relatively weak contender against the BJP, although discussions about preferred candidates continue among party ranks. As the situation evolves, the dynamics within these constituencies remain a focal point of local political interest.
