Explosion at Bhandara Ordnance Factory Claims Lives

Government Officials Express Condolences
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari described the incident as “unfortunate,” confirming the fatalities and injuries. He expressed his condolences and called for a moment of silence to honor the victims. Similarly, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his sadness over the blast, offering condolences to the families of the deceased and praying for the swift recovery of the injured. He also mentioned that rescue teams have been deployed at the site to assist those affected.
The ordnance factory in Bhandara is a significant site for the production of defense equipment, including high-energy explosives like HMX and RDX. The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
