Explosion at Bhandara Ordnance Factory Claims Eight Lives
On Friday morning, a devastating explosion occurred at the Bhandara Ordnance Factory in Maharashtra, approximately 50 kilometers from Nagpur. The blast resulted in the deaths of at least eight workers and left several others injured. The explosion was so intense that it completely destroyed the unit, burying workers under debris.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari confirmed the incident, stating, “A major mishap has taken place at the ordnance factory in Bhandara, resulting in the deaths of eight people and injuries to seven others. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured swift action, with senior officials on-site to oversee rescue operations. Teams from Nagpur and additional medical personnel were also dispatched to provide assistance.
