A grand Rice and Grains Festival has been organized in Bhandara, thanks to the collaborative efforts of farmers, farmer groups, and farmer producer companies from Bhandara district, along with the Department of Agriculture and the Agricultural Technology Management System (ATMA).
The festival features a wide range of stalls offering rice, pulses, wheat, jowar, bajra, milk and dairy products, agro-based processed foods (such as papad and pickles), organically grown fruits and vegetables, as well as handmade art, food items, and household goods prepared by various support groups.
The main aim of this event is to provide a direct market for the agricultural produce of local farmers. The festival has garnered significant attention, with many citizens of Bhandara city actively visiting to explore and support the offerings.
